Fish Cares week of 12/27

As they say…..Out with the old, in with the new…Canyon High School in Anaheim wants to raid that pile of old printers and electronic what-nots in your garage….. They’ll take your unwanted electrical items and turn them into something rewarding for their school and band….
Some of life’s best memories are made….at a park!  From meadows to mountains and boardwalks to bike paths…Orange County Parks offer a lot for our families to enjoy…And if you have a heart for helping to preserve and maintain the natural beauty of OC parks…

Can I interrupt your busy day just long enough to let you know that there are 100’s of Orange County children that are looking for someone like you….someone to look up to!   Big Brothers / Big Sisters of OC has told us, at this moment their waiting list is 300 children.  These kids could really use your help, to make a difference in their lives….

Military Children's Charity

Military Children’s Charity, Inc. exists to enrich the lives of American Service member’s children. Given the reality of multiple military engagements, and several years of economic uncertainty, M.C.C. recognizes that a disproportionate share of this burden has fallen on the shoulders of American Service Member’s families.  American Military Children deserve to be appreciated and publicly recognized for their countless personal sacrifices on behalf of our nation too.  For these reasons, M.C.C. endeavors to provide gifts directly to these children via the American public’s individual contributions, donations and grants.  These funds will be utilized to purchase holiday toys, theme park tickets, backpacks, school supplies, Easter baskets, baby items, and anything additional which will facilitate an opportunity to appropriately acknowledge our military children.  If in providing these extra benefits to American Military Children, their parent’s budget is alleviated, and their spirits livened, then M.C.C’s mission has been accomplished. Click here to get involved.

Tanaka Farms

Tanaka Farms is inviting you to come out to the farm and help them harvest the crops to help families maintain a healthy, nutritious diet. This is a great opportunity for families or anyone that has the desire to lend a helping hand! What better way to create a bond with your children than to bring  them out to the farm, work side by side with them, let them see where their food comes from and to help others in Orange County at the same time. Please contact Glenn at Glenn@TanakaFarms.com. Tell him how many volunteers you have and he will find a date that works for you.
